Desire and Success :::
The motivation to succeed comes from the burning desire to achieve a purpose .
Napoleon Hill wrote : " Whenever the mind of man can conceive and believe , the mind can achieve ."
A burning desire is the starting point of all accomplishment . Just like a small fire cannot give much heat , a weak desire cannot produce great results.
If you are going through hell, keep going.
Not doing our work with full concentration. Due to this, we take 5 hours to complete a work for which only 2 hours would have been enough. Do whatever you wish to, but do it with full concentration.
Nobody cares unless you are beautiful, rich, popular or dead.
Your greatest failing is that you are versatile and that your energies are directed into too many channels. Concentrate on fewer branches of work and pleasure, and you will greatly benefit by the change.
The best you can do is work smart and work hard for the things you want.
Fantasising About Being Somewhere Else - Day dreaming about being somewhere better actually takes a lot of brain power and is also kind of depressing. It distances you from the world around you and makes it harder for you to get your work down.
Motivation is cool, but it’s fleeting(lasting for a very short time). Focus on building a cluster of habits that will make you disciplined.
Confidence is sexy, wear it daily
“I’m awesome because I beat 500 million sperm to get here”
When You Walk Repeat “I am Awesome” Over and Over Again - Will give you Super Hero Confidence
Set a Timer For Daily Tasks So You Do them Faster - I set my timer for 2 minutes to get out of bed, 5 minute shower, 4 minute get dressed and 7 minute breakfast.
Wake up before the alarm goes off. Do the morning yoga. When there is choice between going that extra mile in the work vs. checking out Instagram, go for the one which Geniuses go for.
Average is that small temptation stopping you from doing what you should do. Genius is that little badass inside you stopping you from becoming average.
You just have to improve anything just 1% (0.01) more.
